Welcome to Redeemer

We are a church that seeks to rest in God’s love, remind one another of his love, and reflect his love to our friends and neighbors in Midtown Memphis.

Whether you're in search of a new church to call home or are exploring what it means to follow Jesus, we invite you to visit us this Sunday.

We gather for worship at 9:00am and 10:45am at 651 S. Cooper Street, Memphis, Tennessee 38104.

What To Expect

Sundays at Redeemer are ancient, yet authentic – liturgical, yet soulful. We hope our services feel weighty and warm, challenging and comforting, enriching and inviting.

Scripture, the Lord’s Prayer, and excellent music ground us and elevate our worship. We share God’s promise to make all things new in our sermons. And every week, communion displays our need of and Christ’s supply of love and grace.

What To Wear & Parking

Most of us wear dressy casual or casual attire. You’ll see a few suits as well, but we encourage you to wear whatever is comfortable.

There are parking lots on either side of our building and across South Cooper Street. A crossing guard is present for those crossing the street. Additional street parking is available on Cowden Avenue.

Skeptics Welcome

Redeemer recognizes that belief in a good God amid a hurting world can be hard. We value people who have questions and doubts. We strive to be a community where you can belong before you believe.

We assume there are people with us each Sunday who are not convinced of the Christian faith. We desire to talk with skeptics not about them. Your presence is welcome here.

Monthly Q&R Event

We have a Question and Response gathering at 12:15pm on the second Sunday of every month. Anyone can anonymously text in questions to (901) 501-7294 and our pastors will give a response.

We would also love to meet with you. Simply email the church office to set up a meeting.

Redeemer is more than just a group of people who gather on Sunday. We exist to love God, each other, and our neighbors in Midtown Memphis throughout the week.
