Youth Ministry

“We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done. So the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but keep his commands.”
— Psalm 78:4, 6-7

About Our Youth Ministry

Redeemer's youth ministry is for middle school (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12) students. We want to see our students learn about God through His Scripture, and be a part of a welcoming community in which they can grow, struggle, be challenged, and build friendships.

What We are Doing:

Monthly Gatherings

Our dream is to see midtown’s teenagers experience the love of Jesus Christ so that their individual lives, their youth culture and their broader society flourish through Christ. This can’t happen if they don’t know one another! To that end, our students gather once a month for a time with one another that is fun, safe, and engaging.

Service Opportunities

Students join in with the rest of Redeemer to participate in service projects throughout the year. Students have opportunities to join in with the rest of Christ’s body to love and serve and learn from our neighbors all over the city.

Sunday Morning Bible Studies

Students are encouraged to ask questions, to think, and to talk about what it means to follow Christ, who we are in light of the Gospel, and how we can be the church for our city and beyond.

Annual Summer Beach Conference

Each summer, students are invited to attend RYM Summer Beach Conferences in Panama City Beach, Florida. Church leaders and students from all over the southeast meet to study God’s Word, strengthen existing friendships, make new friends, participate in tons of fun activities/events, and to relax at the beach.
